Today, social reporting represents an essential component of all news irrespective of the media genre. The common person with its interest dominates the media and the journalist became a sort of narrators of some real stories. How to deliver the stories of those unheard in the mainstream media and how to write about problems affecting people in the every day life is the focus of the course, also the subjects should be interesting, respecting the deontological norms.

During the classes the students will find out more about the social institutions and the area of social subjects. They will find out what is the social responsibility of journalists, what is the impact of social subjects and develop their ability to write interesting stories respecting ethical norms. The Course is mainly a practical one and includes more field activities for developing the abilities to observe realities and to reflect them more clearly and concretely.
