Dumitru Marian
Bio: 

He began as video editor, later on he worked for OWH Studio. He translated and dubbed movies for the Cronograf Festival. In 2008, he established ALTFilm, an association that aimed at the development of national cinematography and filmmakers. Also in 2008, he started to mentor journalists with respect to images and editing, and also to consult filmmakers on movie script, funding and production. In 2009, he debuted as producer of the documentary "A Country of Fairy tales ". He is the first independent distributor of Romanian film in Moldova.

He brought to Chişinău three editions of anim'est (one of the largest animation festivals in Eastern Europe), three editions of Future Shorts (largest pop-up film festival in the world). He is co-authors of the draft law on cinematography passed in the first reading in April 2013. Since 2010 conducts the course on video editing at the School of Advanced Journalism and runs training courses for the regional TV stations. As well, he works in advertisement production at Sergiu Prodan Workshop.
