The Chisinau School of Advanced Journalism today has initiated the Admission Caravan 2007-2008. Presentations in the towns and university centers of Cahul, Comrat, Balti, Tiraspol and Chisinau will be organized during the event.

According to organizers, the Admission Caravan aims at informing the young people that want to continue their studies in journalism about the possibilities offered by the Chisinau School of Advanced Journalism. The presentations will be given by graduates in humanities and exact sciences and representatives of the civil society and local governments. They will speak about the admission conditions, the courses run by the school, the study conditions and opportunities opening after graduation.

The Chisinau School of Advanced Journalism was opened by the Independent Journalism Center in cooperation with the Missouri School of Journalism in the US and the Paris-based Journalism School and Training Center in 2006.

Twenty journalists are prepared at the school each year. The courses are delivered by well-known national and foreign teachers and journalists. The deadline for applications is June 15. Twenty students will be admitted to the school, ten of whom will receive awards. Further details are available at www.scoaladejurnalism.md.
