Irina graduated from the State University of Moldova, Journalism and Communication Science Department, with a Major in Communication Science, in 2014. While a student, she worked as news editor for the news portal www.mediaextern.md. She was a project coordinator of the radio station and news portal Studentus. Since April 2012 she has worked as communication and media relations coordinator at the Center for Information and Documentation on Children's Rights.
