TV Journalism is offering a synthesis of general knowledge and abilities in the field of TV reporting. The students will find out all the processes and components of TV production beginning with the working session to the broadcast and namely: news selection, writing, compressing, editing, and arranging everything into a news program. Also, in the programme were included classes on the components of TV production (news, interviewing, reportage, and feature).
The course is structured in such a way that during the first days, a TV newsroom is mimicked in the classroom and tasks are divided among all the students who would have to become real reporters in a real editorial office. They will have the opportunity to apply all the knowledge gained during the theoretical classes. Also, students are following strict deadlines and these are part of students’ evaluations; they will participate in the process of the news selection. As the deadlines are extremely important in television, their respect will represent an important test of resistance in a television.
